Frank Calef Freeman, age 50 died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born September 19, 1960 in Monterrey, Mexico the son of Leon Freeman of Old Greenwich, CT and Katherine B. Sheppard of Porta Costa, CA. He was the husband of Jennifer L. Hutsell Freeman, his wife of 12 years. He worked as a contractor doing wallpaper and painting. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Shipley, MD. He attended Western Maryland College and was a fraternity member of Delta Pi Alpha (Preacher). He was an avid fisherman, especially fly fishing. He loved music, playing guitar, camping, reading and spending time with his children. He was a fan of the Orioles and the Ravens.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his children, Samuel C. Freeman and Cassandra J. Freeman, both of Westminster; step-mother, June Freeman of Old Greenwich, Ct; sisters and brothers-in-law, Condidt and Peter Fairfield of Corte Madera, CA and Katherine and Kevin Greener of Pennington, NJ; niece, Katie Greener and nephew, Trent Greener; mother and father-in-law, Sandy and Gary Cook of Westminster; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Penny Hutsell and Jeffrey and Maria Hutsell all of Westminster; nieces and nephews, Savannah, Sarah, Camelli, James and Kristine; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, 2714-16 Old Washington Road, Westminster with his pastor Rev. Richard K. Shamer officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster and Saturday 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
