Frances "Fran" Josephine (Dyson) Kehler

Frances “Fran” Josephine Kehler, nee Dyson, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Wellspan York Hospital in Pennsylvania surrounded by family. Born March 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Roger Dyson and Ethel Mae Dyson, nee Corun. She was the loving wife to Robert “Bob” W. Kehler, Sr., whom share 35 years of marriage together.

She was self-employed in housekeeping for many years. She enjoyed gardening and being outside, word puzzle books, spending time with family especially during the holidays so she could make homemade meals, and tending to Bob any chance she could get.

Surviving in addition to her husband is daughter, Melissa Bollinger; son, John Bollinger, Jr. and wife Victoria; step-children, Robert “Bobby” Kehler, Jr. and Theresa Kehler; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mildred Sweitzer, Mary Redmond, William Dyson, David Dyson and wife Barbara, Mark Dyson, and Charles Dyson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings Evelyn Stitely, John, George, Edward, Catherine, and Raymond Dyson.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm, Monday, June 5, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
