Frances Irene Trite Snyder, of Mason, OH, formerly of Westminster, MD, died peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Mason Christian Village in Mason. Born April 14, 1928 in Linwood, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Roseann (Fritz) Trite. She was the wife of the late Wilbur Ray Snyder to whom she was married for 52 years. He died February 4, 2000.
Frances was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Westminster Church of the Brethren. In 2012, she moved to Mason, Ohio to be near her son and daughter in law.
Surviving are son, Tracy Trite Snyder and his wife Darlene of Mason, OH; daughter, Valerie Snyder Davis of West Point, VA; 2 grandchildren, Lauren Davis Lloyd and husband Darin Lloyd of Pittsburg PA, and Cameron Wallace Davis of Danville, VA; one great granddaughter, Newlyn Lloyd of Pittsburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Hilda Harner and Marie Halper; and brothers, Donald and Carroll Trite.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Littlestown, PA. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
