Frances M. Ridenour, age 87, of Emmitsburg, Maryland died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at College View Nursing Center in Frederick. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Laura Cooper Burton. She was the wife of the late Lee C. Iferd and the late William Ridenour.
Surviving are sons Lee Iferd of Shalimar, Florida; Frank Iferd of Emmitsburg; Donald Iferd of Southport, Florida; step-son Jerry Ridenour of Emmitsburg; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Frances donated her body to medical science for the benefit of others. A memorial service honoring her life will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, Maryland, with Pastor Richard Broome officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour preceding the service.
