Floyd "Shaff" Shaffer

Floyd K. “Shaff” Shaffer, 75, of Westminster died Sunday evening, January 13, 2013 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born May 20, 1937 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Rachel M. Smith Shaffer.
“Shaff” was employed as a furniture mover for Geiman’s, the Hub and the Room Store in Westminster and also was a security guard for the Stone Quarry in Medford.
Surviving him is a brother, Daniel L. Shaffer, Sr. of Westminster and his companion, Dorothy “Dot” Bauerlien of Westminster; 10 numerous nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Harold “Jack” Shaffer and sisters, Joan Arnsberger, Marian Thomas and Janet Souers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, where services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dick Wilson and Pastor Bob Kapfer officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
