Fay P. Waltz, age 79, formerly of Uniontown, Maryland, died peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Accolades Personal Care Home Assisted Living in New Freedom, Pennsylvania.
Born July 27, 1933 in Uniontown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Paige) Waltz.
She was a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church. Fay retired as a clerk with the State of Maryland. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and embroidery.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn Carr, Jessie Stein, and Alice Hilbert; brothers, Charles, Arlie, and Earl Waltz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, Maryland with Rev. Walt Bosman officiating. Interment will follow in Uniontown Methodist Cemetery in Uniontown, Maryland. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
