Erma Marie Lachnit, age 65, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the home of her niece in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Born January 27, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Mildred (Stacknick) Lachnit, Jr.
Erma was a long time resident of Locust House in Westminster, and of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are siblings, Gus Lachnit of Baltimore, Fred Lachnit of Florida, Mildred Ruppert of Florida, Anne Thomas of Westminster, Helen Donovan of Aberdeen, and Doris Dorn of Westminster. Also surviving are 15 nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Adolph Lachnit.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, Maryland. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in Moreland Memorial Park, 1601 Taylor Ave., Baltimore, Maryland with the Rev. Tim Johansen officiating.
