Emory Earl Leppo, Sr.

Chambersburg

On February 17th, 2024 Emory Earl Leppo, Sr. passed away peacefully in Chambersburg, PA. He was married to his beloved wife Shirley Mae E. Leppo of 40 years. He was the son of the late William "Bill" and Hilda Leppo. Emory was the youngest of 8 children and he is preceded in death by siblings David Leppo, Evelyn Leppo, William "Billy" Leppo and Ruthie Crist.

Emory was born in Westminster and grew up there. He then resided in Chambersburg, PA for 27 years. He was a Specialist in the United States Army where he served from 1969-1973.

He is survived by his 3 children: Charlene Leppo, Holly Skags and Emory "Buddy"  Leppo Jr.; his 9 grandchildren ranging from 1 month old to 15 years old.

Some of his best qualities were his great storytelling, loved to keep busy, and was always making plans. Emory loved spending time with his family, enjoyed his garden, playing sweepstakes, and watching westerns.
