Elsie Marie Beall, age 73, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2014 and went home to the Lord at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
She was born June 8, 1941 in Baltimore County, daughter of the late Robert O. and Marguerite (Tressler) Tiedemann.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Beall in 2004.
Elsie loved children and was a dedicated childcare provider in the Carroll County area for many years. She was a member of the Carroll County Family Childcare Association, and New Life Worship Center in Chambersburg, PA.
Surviving her are a son, Rev. Dr. Robert S. Beall of Westminster and daughter, Stephanie Beall May of Westminster; sister, Dorothy Norris of Manchester; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with her son Rev. Dr. Robert S. Beall officiating. Burial will follow in the Friends Creek Cemetery near Emmitsburg, Maryland. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
