Elizabeth "Tish" Enright

Mrs. Elizabeth Catherine Yorke Enright, 88, of Park Drive, Emmitsburg died on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Born July 10, 1934, in Brownsdale, PA, she was the loving daughter of Eugene Yorke and Veronica Yorke. Elizabeth (Tish) spent most of her career working for Rotorex and retired after numerous years of service. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Joseph's Parish in Emmitsburg. Tish was an avid card player and treasured time shared with family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling and spending time at the Emmitsburg Senior Center.

Along with her parents, Tish is predeceased by husbands, James Paul Enright(6-18-99) and Allen Raymond Knott(11-06-08); as well as her sister, Anne Yorke Whiteman and brother, Jack Yorke.

Surviving are her four children, whom she felt blessed to have; James P. Enright and wife Debbie of Brentwood, TN, John P. Enright and wife Pamela of Leesburg, VA, Joseph M. Enright and wife Jackie of Cumberland, MD, and Mary E. Enright of Mt. Airy, MD. In addition to her children, Tish is survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00p.m. on October 5, 2022 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 West Main St., Emmitsburg.

Mass and celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 6th at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 47 DePaul St, Emmitsburg.

Interment will be in her hometown of Pennsylvania at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emmitsburg Seton Center.
