Elizabeth "Betsy" Theresa Baker

On March 7, 2022, Elizabeth “Betsy” Theresa Baker of Frederick, MD passed away. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Richards and Elizabeth (nee Bogan) Richards.

Betsy is survived by children Kenny Baker of Woodbridge, VA, Traci Eddinger (Jimmy) of Purcellville, VA, Scott Baker (Kim) of Baltimore, MD, brother in law Samuel Booth of DE (the late Barbara Booth) and sister in law Dee Frykman of PA (the late Samuel Richard).  She is also survived by her grandchildren Grace, Grant Baker, Austyn, and Alexis Eddinger.

Betsy was the Philanthropist of the Year 2013 in Carroll County and she loved all of the time she spent volunteering.

The family will receive friends on Friday March 11, 2022, from 10am-12pm at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street Taneytown, MD 21787. A Funeral Mass will be said by Fr. Jude Okoye on Friday March 11, 2022 at 1pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Taneytown. Interment will be private.
