Elizabeth Ades "Betty" Park

Elizabeth Ades "Betty" Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5th, 2024 at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, Maryland. Betty was born on March 31st, 1937, in Champaign, Illinois to the late Harlow Ades and Florence Adams Ades. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph K. Park. They were married for 64 years.

While living in Pensacola, Florida, Betty worked for the Sacred Heart Hospital System and volunteered at “Camp Bluebird,” an adult cancer camp. Betty enjoyed needle work, sewing, quilting, beading, and many other crafts. She also loved spending time with her family, especially at the beach in Perdido Key, Florida and during the Christmas season.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia Linville (the late Joseph Linville); her granddaughters, Rebecca Linville and Julie Anne Mora (Michael Mora) all of Westminster, Maryland. She was the sister of the late Helen Butler, William Ades, and Susan Ogburn. She is survived by one great grandson, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Betty always took care of her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.

The family will receive friends at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A. 91 Willis Street Westminster, MD 21157 on Tuesday August 20th from 5-7pm. Interment is private.
