On Friday, January 17, 2025, ELIZABETH LEE MILLER, nee Walston, 96, of Woodstock passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Agnes Hospital. Born August 10, 1928, she was the cherished daughter of the late William J., Sr. and Loretta A. Freburger, nee Will. Beloved wife of the late Martin B. Miller, her husband of 69 years, who passed away in 2019.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her children whom she was the loving mother of Mary E. and Roland E. Cumor, Carol L. and Thomas F. Obrecht, Walter J. and Debra L. Miller, John J. and Karen E. Miller, Kathleen M. Dulaney, and Jacqueline A. Manelli; devoted grandmother of 20 and cherished great-grandmother of 22.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son Michael J. Miller, Sr., her son-in-law James W. Dulaney, Jr., and her brothers Philip L. Walston and William J. Freburger, Jr.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation 1-3 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Harry H. Witzke Family Funeral Home, Inc., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City (21043) where a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the St. Michael Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mount Airy (21771) with the Rev. Fr. Michael Ruane presiding. Interment will follow the Mass in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.myersdurborawfh.com.
