Elizabeth Wright Latta, 89, of Thurmont, Maryland passed away peacefully Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home. Born May 31, 1925 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Judge Edward G. Wright and Geneva Elizabeth Mobley Wright. She was the wife of the late Thomas Rufus Latta, to whom she was married for 59 years.
Elizabeth spent her married years in Devon, PA, raising her family. After retirement, she and her husband divided their time between Port St. Lucie, FL and Thurmont, MD, traveling and visiting friends and family.
She is survived by her loving children, Elisabeth Crump and husband Gary of Thurmont, MD, Barbara Parsels and husband Fred of Manassas, VA, Mary Mutter of Thurmont, MD, and Thomas Latta and wife Nina of Reading, PA; brother, William Adams and wife Cynthia of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, David Latta, sister, Eleanor Midwood, brother, Edward Wright, and son-in-law, Forrest Mutter.
