Elizabeth A. Beattie, age 82, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Transitions Healthcare Center in Sykesville.
Born August 18, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Elise (Seussler) Schukraft.
She worked at Westminster Shoe as a seamstress, Dutterer’s Florist, and Admiral Cleaners in Westminster. She attended Westminster United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, June L. Crumbie and husband Charles of Westminster; son, Robert C. Beattie and wife Glenda of Buchanan, VA; brothers, Edwin Schukraft and Richard Schukraft; grandchildren, Theresa Glowacki, Bobby and April Beattie, and Charles Crumbie II; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services and inurnment will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
