Eleanor E. Wampler, age 92, of Sykesville, Maryland, died peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center in Westminster.
She was born August 31, 1920 in Frederick County, Maryland, daughter of the late Maynard and Ava (Keiser) Martz. Her husband Harri Bushey Wampler predeceased her.
She was retired from both the St. of MD and Carroll Co. Board of Education, having worked for many years as a dietary aide.
Surviving her is a daugher, Gerri Wampler of Westminster.
Services and interment in Highland View Cemetery near Berrett, Maryland were private at her request. Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
