Eleanor J. Kenyon, age 74, of New Windsor, MD died peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Westminster, MD. Born September 13, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Patrick Walsh, Sr. and Mary Carry Weinhold Walsh. She was the wife of Charles P. Kenyon, Sr., her husband of more than 60 years.
Eleanor was a homemaker. She enjoyed vacationing, visiting various caverns, cooking, collecting Avon bottles, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Westminster.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Sharon Fowler of Luray, VA, Deborah Chapman and husband Michael of Luray, VA, Tammy Kenyon of Taneytown, Terry Morgan of Mountaindale in Frederick County; sons, Charles P. Kenyon, Jr and wife Denise of Hampstead, and Steven Kenyon of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Patricia G. Walsh and Mary Ann Condon, both of Westminster, Margaret E. Haines and husband Berry of Taneytown; brothers, Michael E. Walsh, and John A. Walsh and wife Barbara all of Hampstead, and Frederick “Fred” B.T. Walsh of Glyndon, MD; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Brenda Rigler, sister, Teresa Collins, brothers, Charles R. Walsh and George P. Walsh, Sr,. and sister-in-law, Barb Walsh.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St. Westminster with Rev. John F. Lesnick as celebrant
