Edwin Steiger, age 55 of Westminster died November 20, 2011 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born March 15, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Albert, Jr. and Janet M. Richardson Steiger. He was the husband of Virginia “Ginger” Jones Steiger, his wife of 16 years. He worked as a computer software engineer. He enjoyed aeronautics and astronomy. He loved his cats and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Nashira A. Steiger of Charlotte, NC, Eric Pulles of Westminster and Heather A. Segar of Finksburg; grandchild, Dalton Segar.
He was predeceased by his brother, Albert M. Steiger.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, 1:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 833 Deer Park Road, Westminster, MD with Rev. Neil O’Farrell officiating. Interment will be private.
