Edward Scott Yingling, age 50, of Westminster, Maryland, died suddenly on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his home.
Born April 13, 1959 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Melvin Luther Yingling of Westminster and the late Dorothy Ann (Fox) Yingling. He was the husband 19 years to Nancy (Bailey) Yingling.
Edward was a truck driver with Jano Enterprixes. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, reading Stephen King novels, and working in the garden. Ed especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife are step-daughters, Dawn Marie Winland of Hanover, PA, Belinda Ann Grant of Taneytown; grandchildren, Melissa Kidd, Zachary Kidd, Jordan Gesell; great-granddaughter, Hailey Drechsler; brothers and sister, Mark Yingling and wife Sue of Santa Anna, CA, Johnny Yingling and wife Cindy of Hampstead, MD, Kathy Yingling of Westminster, MD, and Robert Yingling and wife Janie of Millers, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown. There will be no service or viewing. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
