E. Dolores D’Amario, 80, of Taneytown, Maryland died peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 29, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Muriel (Knott) Manger. She was the loving wife of Raymond A. D’Amario, her husband of 58 years.
Dolores was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame and had completed her B.S. in Education at Towson State Teachers College. She retired after 23 years with Baltimore County Public Schools as an Elementary Instructional Assistant. Dolores was a dedicated volunteer at the Carson Scholars Fund; and taught CCD classes at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taneytown. Above all else Dolores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Christopher B. D’Amario and wife Cheryl of Manchester, Amy E. Warner and husband Lee of Timonium, Lucy M. Burnett and husband Christopher of Mt. Airy, and Matthew J. D’Amario and husband Craig of Ocean City; grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas, Christopher, Timothy and Julianna.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 44 Frederick St., Taneytown with Father John F. Lesnick as celebrant. Private burial will be held at a later date in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown.
