Douglas Emmert Glascock, 63, of Finksburg, died Monday afternoon, April 16, 2018 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born November 24, 1954 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Owings Glascock, Sr. and Mary Regina Hoffman Glascock.
Doug was a project manager for Asher Construction in Eldersburg and a Facilities Engineer for Howard County Public Works. He earned a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore. Doug enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his beloved son, Nick. He had a generous heart for helping the homeless.
Surviving are his son, Nicholas D. Glascock of Finksburg; brothers, Robert O. Glascock, Jr. of Ellicott City, and Jeffrey B. Glascock and wife, Diane, of Eldersburg; sister, Regina M. Asher and husband, Michael, of Glenelg; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Gregory W. Glascock and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Glascock.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster with Father Mark Bialek as celebrant. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Sykesville. The family will receive friends at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in Doug's name to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
