Dorothy Elizabeth (Wagner) Wilson Eby

Dorothy Elizabeth Wilson Eby of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born on the Kate Wagner farm at Spring Mills near Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Maggie (Crabbs) Wagner.  Twice married she was predeceased by her first husband, Marion W. “Brownie” Wilson in 1982 and second husband, Richard L. Eby in 2010.
Dorothy was a graduate of the Westminster High School Class of 1939.  She studied art for over 30 years, receiving many awards and ribbons.  She had a passion for painting landscapes of the surrounding Carroll County countryside and garden scenes.  She was a member of the Westminster United Methodist Church, the Carroll County Arts Council, and the Carroll County Artist Guild.  She was retired from Home Call Health Agency in 1987 as a CNA.  She was the last survivor of the Charles Wagner family.
Surviving are sons, Marion Wayne Wilson of Sykesville and Gary L. Wilson and wife Kathleen E. of Westminster; daughter, Linda Wilson Beadel and husband  Richard T. of Parkland, FL.; step-children, Richard W. Eby of N.J., Stephen Eby of Baltimore, and Dagmar Baker of TN; grandchildren, Denise Wilson-Cooke and husband Gregg, Shari Wilson Miley and husband Wendell, Becki Wilson Enders and husband Richie; great-grandchildren, Leah Cooke, Mikayla Miley, Caleb Miley, Alycia Enders, Bryce Enders, Carter Enders, Jessica Beadel Cruz, and Justin Beadel; sister-in-laws, Olivia “Peggy” Connelly, Virginia Wilson Marriott, and Louise Wilson Tracey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Charles, Robert and George Wagner; sisters, Ruth Kuhn, Catherine DuVall, Louise Bare, and infant sister Carrie Frances Wagner; daughter-in-law, Phyllis R. Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
