Dorothy B. Goerke, age 100 of Westminster, died Monday April 4, 2011 at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. She was born June 15, 1910 in Ellicott City, MD the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Murk Boone. Dorothy worked as a nurse in the health care system. She was a member of St. Luke’s (Winters) Lutheran Church.
She is survived by granddaughters, Lynn Alford and Martha Travis both of Richmond, VA; also two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Gladys Green.
A funeral service will be held Monday April 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, Westminster with Rev. Anne C. Durboraw and Rev. Jimmie L. Schwartz officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Ellicott City, MD.
