Doris Frances Hoffman, age 89 of Cockeysville died Thursday, November 12, 2010 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester, MD.
She was born December 6, 1920 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Harry & Marie Doulong Morrison. She was the wife of the late Christian E. Hoffman who died in 1991.
She was a member of Sixth District Democratic Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by children and spouses, Christian R. and Catherine Hoffman of Westminster and Joan H. and Melvin E. Baile, Jr. of New Windsor; siblings, Nancy Baugher of Delaware and William Morrison of Georgia; grandchildren, Brian L. Hoffman and Kenneth L. Hoffman both of Westminster, Matthew G. Baile of Glyndon and Lauren N. Baile of New Windsor; also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, on Wednesday November 17, 2010
at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, with the Rev. Samuel Chamelin officiating.
Private interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills will be on Friday November 19th.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
