Donna Ireland

Donna Carol Ireland, 70, of Hanover, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA.  Born March 23, 1951 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Beverly (Kelley) Pundt.  She was the wife of the late Patrick Greydon Ireland.  He passed in 2008.

Donna was a manager in retail sales for many years.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, racquetball, family cookouts, and driving fast.  She loved all things shamrock.  Her greatest joy in life was hanging out with and spoiling her grandchildren.  It’s said of Donna that she never met a stranger.

Surviving are her sons, Kelly Ireland (Jennifer) of Phoenixville, PA, Michael Ireland (Jackie) of Monument, CO, and Brian Ireland (Vesta) of Syracuse, NY; siblings, Phil Pundt (Denise) of Littlestown, PA, and Phyllis Retzler (Mark) of WV; grandchildren, Sean, Bethany, Geoffrey, Jarod, Greydon, and Emily Ireland; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by siblings, Mickey, Sandra and John Pundt, and Deborah La Buda; and grandson, Brian Ireland.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD with Pastor Brook Hicks officiating.  Burial will be private.
