Donald Morris Brown, 72, of Emmitsburg, MD, died peacefully Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Born June 6, 1943 in Frederick County, MD, he was the son of the late Morris and Hilda (Smith) Brown. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Shriner) Brown.
Donald worked for many years in the warehouse at Frederick Trading Company in Frederick, MD. He was previously employed by the Frederick County Highway Administration and Matthews Gas Company in Emmitsburg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sisters, Virginia Rogers of Emmitsburg, and Irene Stotler of Woodsboro; and brother, Ray Brown of Thurmont. He was predeceased by a brother, Leon Brown.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD. A graveside service will be held at Mt.
