Donald L. Barnes

Donald L. Barnes, 64, of Westminster, MD, died on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at home.

Born November 4, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Beverley Lee and Marie (Golding) Barnes.  He was predeceased by his wife, Deborah Barnes in 2011.

Donald retired as a tax advocate with the IRS in 2016.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, photography, and computers.  He was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.

Surviving are son, Jason Barnes and wife Pamela of Manchester; granddaughter, Kaelin; brothers, William C. Barnes and wife Beverly of White  Haven, PA and David L. Barnes and wife Grace of Silver Spring, MD.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with John C. Morrill as funeral celebrant.  Graveside service and burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1st from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
