Dolores Elizabeth Jackson, age 71 of East Berlin, PA, formerly of Manchester, MD died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Hanover General Hospital. She was born April 6, 1937 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth m. Buskey Lulie. She was the wife of Francis L. “Jack” Jackson, Jr., his wife of 54 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Berlin and a former member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children and spouses, Francis L. III and Colleen Jackson of Hanover and Keith E. and Shannon Jackson of East Berlin; grandchildren, Nichole and husband Ishmael Beverly, Francis L. Jackson IV, Keith E. Jackson, Jr., Austin M. Jackson and Brandon D. Jackson; great grandchildren, Ishmael, Jr., Anthony and Kevin Beverly.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane E. Jackson, brother, Edward Lulie, Jr. and half sister, Alice Thomas.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday 9:00 AM at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. William Lindsay officiating. Interment will follow at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
The family will receive friends Monday 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
