Richard Leo “Dick” Null, 82, of Westminster, MD passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at his home. Born August 12, 1939 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mildred (Mumaugh) Null. He was the devoted husband of Eunice Irene (Ford) Null, to whom he was married for 60 years.
Dick worked at Black & Decker, the Carroll County Farm Museum, and Johansson’s Dining House, prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and talking. He was a member of the Thurmont Conservation and Sportsmen’s Club. He loved his dogs and was a fan of both the Orioles and Ravens.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Eunice, are his children, Jerry Null and wife Margie of New Windsor, MD, Debbie Gray of Hanover, PA, and Diane Link and husband Tom of Littlestown, PA; sister, Frances Harris and husband James Sr. of Westminster; grandchildren, Jesse Null, Krysti Miller, Kandice Gray, Chris Link, and Cara Link Melton; great-granddaughter, Ashton Bosley; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St, Westminster, MD, with Pastor Bob Kapfer officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12th at the funeral home.
