Dennis Robert Rinehart

Dennis Robert Rinehart, age 74, of Hanover, PA, died on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born November 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Monroe and Grace (Weishaar) Rinehart. He was the husband of Doris (Shuff) Rinehart, his wife of 52 years.

He served in the United States Army and completed a tour of Duty during the Vietnam War. He Retired from Littlestown Foundry in 2015 after 39 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, crabbing, spending time in his garage and family cookouts.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Sherry Rinehart and fiancé Rob Bream, and Pamela Rinehart; sister-in-law Cathy Covington and husband Steven, who was like a brother; grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Justin, Olivia, Dakota, Josh and Kaleigh; great-grandchildren, his side kick Wyatt Fritz, Collin, and Skyler; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Francis and Kenneth Rinehart; half siblings, Fred Weishaar and Shirley Few.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
