Dennis Allen Glass, age 51, of Rocky Ridge, Maryland, died suddenly on Monday, May 5, 2008 at his home of natural causes.
Born June 23, 1956 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James M. and Anna Lee (Shriner) Glass. He was the husband of Paula C. Glass.
Dennis was a self-employed contractor, who owned and operated American Services Unlimited. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Frederick, and the Sportsman’s Club of Fairfield, Pa. He loved riding his 1947 knucklehead, as well as his two pet dogs, “Shortie” and “Chuck”.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his aunt, Dorothy Lockner of Taneytown, and special cousin, Mary Ann Wagerman of Fairfield, Pa., as well as numerous other cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, Md., with the Rev. David L. Meador officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery in Rocky Ridge, Maryland. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
