Denise “Dee” R. Walsh Kenyon, 53, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Brinton Woods Health Care Center in Sykesville.
Born on May 25, 1964 in Thurmont, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Catherine I. (Donnelly) Hewitt and Richard M. Blizzard. She was the wife of Charles “Butch” P. Kenyon, Jr.
Dee loved home shopping and shopping at Wal-Mart. She was an avid football fan of the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers. She enjoyed BINGO, attending local carnivals, collecting yellow M & M’s, dolphins and sports memorabilia. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Ashley Pearl, Timothy Michael, Cody Braxton, Kysha Marie, Heidi Lynn, and Stephanie Nicole; grandchildren, Michael, Tameron, Jailyn, Amayah, Shannon, and Evelyn; brothers, Jeff Poff and wife Kim, and Bruce Donnelly and wife Arlene; and several step-brothers and step-sisters. Also surviving are nephews, Shawn and wife Sondra and their children William and Brett, nieces, Melanie and husband Jeff and their daughter Taylor, and Nicole and partner Jason and their son Aiden.
She was predeceased by husband, John “Jake” A. Walsh, Jr.; grandson Peyton, and by a sister, Goldie Fritz.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD with funeral celebrant John C. Morrill officiating. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
