Debranne Linda Martin, age 19, of Taneytown, MD, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 as the result of an accident near Union Bridge, MD. Born January 6, 1993 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Duane Martin of Union Bridge and Sandra Spielman Martin of Taneytown.
She was a 2011 graduate of FSK High School and was a member of the Future Farmers of America and Sam’s Creek 4-H Club. She was a participant in the West Carroll Recreation Council’s Rugby program. She was employed as a milkhand at Hidden Valley Ayrshires dairy farm in Keymar and worked part-time at No Anchovies pizza carryout in Taneytown. Debranne enjoyed animals, the outdoors, and spending time with family & friends.
Surviving in addition to her parents are sisters, Ashley N. Barber & husband, Kyle, of Westminster, and twin, B. Suzanne Martin of New Windsor; brother, Duane D. Martin of Taneytown; half-brother, Tyler James Harold Martin of Union Bridge; fiancé, Robert Erb of New Windsor; paternal grandmother, Linda Martin of New Windsor; maternal grandfather, Charles Spielman of Taneytown; nephew, Eli Lane Barber and niece, Bridgette Bonnie Barber; aunt, Stephanie Martin of New Windsor; uncles, R. Neal Martin & wife, Cindy, of New Windsor, Bobby Spielman & wife, Judy, of Littlestown, PA, and Mike Spielman & wife, Michelle, of Fairfield, PA; her mother's companion, Bobby Yingling; her father's fiance, Tanya Stambaugh; as well as many cousins. She was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Bonnie Spielman; paternal grandfather, Harold Martin; and uncle, J. Gregory Martin.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Uniontown Bible Church, 4272 Watson Lane, Union Bridge, MD with Pastor Milton Lambertson of Bark Hill Bible Church officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery near New Windsor. The family will receive friends 3-9 p.m. Monday at the church.
