Deborah Ann Barnes, age 57 of Westminster, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown. She was born March 16, 1954 in Havre de Grace, MD, daughter of Margarette Thomas Crowder of Abingdon, MD and the late W. Robert Wallis. She was the wife of Donald L. Barnes, her husband of 28 years. She retired in 2006 from the Defense Logistics Agency. Deborah was an avid photographer and gardener and loved her pet cats.
In additional to her husband and mother, she is survived by son, Donald D. Harward of Monroe, Washington; step-father, Leo F. Crowder; step-son and his wife, Jason and Pamela Barnes of Manchester, MD; mother-in-law, Marie G. Barnes of Westminster; brothers, Donald S. Wallis of Nottingham, MD and Patrick M. Wallis of Bel Air, MD; step-brothers, David M. Wallis of Abingdon, MD and Phillip Crowder of Bel Air, MD; step-sister, Sandra Pace of Bel Air, MD; brothers-in-law, William C. Barnes of White Haven, PA and David L. Barnes of Wheaton, MD; granddaughter, Kaelin Barnes.
She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas L. Wallis.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. John Aldrich officiating.

Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.

The family will receive friends Monday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
