David R. “Chillin-D”, “D-Baby”, “Dr.D”, Moore III age 41 of Westminster, died Saturday February 20, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born August 27, 1968 in Baltimore the son of the late Dennis and Okima Moore Young. He attended North Carroll High School and Westminster High School where he excelled in sports and holds the record in triple jump at North Carroll High School. He was pursuing a B.A. Degree in culinary arts at the Baltimore International College. He was a member of the Westminster Men’s R.R.G. Basketball League. He attended Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of Crossroads Restoration Church in Westminster.
He is survived by daughters, Dionna Marie Moore and Tauche’ Yvette Moore, both of Westminster; Fiancee’, Jaya “Mia” Johnson of Westminster; maternal grandparents, David Moore, Jr. and Wilhelmina Moore, both of Westminster; siblings, Frank Dorsey Willis, Jr. of Westminster and Brandon Young of Randallstown; nieces, Keirra Willis and Mya Monet Moore; grandson, Matthew Thomas White, Jr. cousins, Dante Young, Bina Moore and Erica Bigger; also several cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Flossy Young and brother, Dwayne Barry Moore.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster.
Services and interment will be private.
If desired, contributions may be made to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
