David Wayne Lancaster, age 46 of Taneytown, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at his home. He was born April 9, 1962 in Gettysburg, PA son of the late Betty and Lou Lancaster.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Holland-Lancaster; sons, Jesse Holland and Hank Holland; grandchildren, Alexa, Jered, Shelby and Nathan Holland; daughter-in-law, Denise Holland; mother-in-law, Helen Turnbaugh; best friend, Jay Mummert from childhood; cousins and friends, Mary Groom, Ida Houck, Kathleen Houck, Richard Stockslager and Jeffrey McDonald.
He will be missed for his humor and the love that he shared for his wife, sons, grandchildren and dearest friends. He will always be remembered riding on his Kubota making kind gestures to the passer by’s.
Services and interment will be private.
