David J. Hodgdon, age 55, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium.
Born September 29, 1957 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Bruce and Margaret (Smith) Hodgdon. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara Lee (Black) Hodgdon.
He owned and operated an IT Services business in Westminster and was a member of the BNI in Westminster. He was a member of Crosslife Bible Church in Winfield.
Surviving in addition to his wife are step-children, Caryn Mason and husband Gary of Manchester, Garry Wayne O’Dell and wife Cristal of Washington, and Gary A. Brown of Westminster; granddaughter, Jennifer Whalen and husband John of Reisterstown; brother, Scott Hodgdon of Mt. Airy; sister, Mary Beachley of MD; and 4 nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. Interment will follow in the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
