David P. Bryant, 62, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born on April 9, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George F. and Veronica Rose (Spanglo) Bryant. He was the loving and devoted husband of 34 years to Rossie Elizabeth “Beth” (Mooney) Bryant.
David was a radiologic technologist for most of his career, and spent time working at St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital, and Carroll Hospital Center. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Westminster and was very active in the Boy Scouts of America serving as an Assistant Scout Master. He had a passion for gardening, fishing, boating, crabbing, and Italian cooking. He loved spending time with his children and his dog “Buzzy”.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Andrew Bryant and wife Melissa of Taneytown, and daughter, Amy Bryant of Westminster. Also surviving are his aunts; mother-in-law; several sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church, 65 Washington Rd., Westminster with the Rev. Matthew Glasgow officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster and on Saturday, June 2nd from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
