David Pierre Joseph Broussard, age 46, of Fairfield, PA died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at his home. Born May 14, 1965 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Anne McCarty Broussard.
He was Head Cook at Hill Country Farm in Blue Ridge Summit, PA and formerly, was co-owner/operator of The Lilypad Flower & Gift Shop in Smithsburg, MD & Blue Ridge Summit,PA. David enjoyed his dogs, cooking, and spending time with friends.
Surviving are sisters, Marie T. Broussard and her husband, Thomas Jacobson of Silver Spring, MD, and Clare J.M. Broussard and her husband, J.T. Devine of Forestville, CA; and brothers, Joseph C. Broussard and wife, Amy, of Newark, DE, and Paul J. Broussard of Cascade, MD.
A memorial reception will be held at the Hill Country Farm, 519 Gladhill Rd., Fairfield, PA, 17320 on Saturday, February 25, beginning at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, Utah, 84741.
