David Ray Bailor

David Ray Bailor, age 46, died at his home on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Born February 15, 1977, he was the son of Sharon Hane and Ray Bailor.

David, as a gifted artist, was able to give shape to his limitless imagination. He was commissioned by others to create art, completed certifications to become a tattoo artist creating the pieces used as body art, and was a self-taught musician playing the guitar. He was also generous of heart, and enjoyed helping others in whatever way he could.

David is survived by his mother, Sharon Hane and stepfather Timothy Hane of Emmitsburg; father, Ray Bailor and wife Luba of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Herr of Shiremanstown, PA; sister, Christine McCord of Gaithersburg; brother, Andrew Bailor and wife Hillary of Rockville; nieces, Sophia and Emily Bailor; Aunts, Patricia Kichman, and Deanna Kauffman; and cousin, Erin Walters husband Erik and daughters.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s name to Seton Center Outreach, 226 E Lincoln Ave, Emmitsburg, MD 21727, setoncenter.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., Emmitsburg.
