Darlene Kay Cline, age 59, of Zullinger, Pennsylvania, died following an extended illness, on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Waynesboro Hospital in Waynesboro, PA.
She was born January 18, 1950 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Morris A. and Julia Anna (Crum) Eyler, Sr. She was the wife of Dennis L. Cline.
Darlene was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg. She had a very long work history including the following places of employment as a nursing assistant, 12 years at Rotorex in Walkersville, Beck Manufacturing, Random House in Westminster, and Black and Decker in Hampstead. She loved all kinds of music, animals, and visiting the ocean. She had a love for life and especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
Surviving her in addition to her husband,are a brother, Morris “Mickey” A. Eyler, Jr. and a sister, Betty Ann Redding, both of Emmitsburg, and several loving and devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 313 West Main Street, Emmitsburg, MD, with her pastor the Rev. John Rudolph officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-9 PM and again on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the church.
