Daniel William Messick, age 62, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Friday, May 24, 2013 at his home.
Born August 23, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late George Henry Messick and Bertha Clara (Rogge) Messick. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rebecca Rexroad Messick.
Dan worked for 30 years with General Motors of Baltimore as a welder/repairman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and time with family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Darlene D. Betz and husband Robert of Littlestown, PA, Holly J. Klein and husband Jeff of Taneytown; grandchildren, Tina Moyer and Corey Messick; 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Diana Smith and husband Dale of Lewes, Del., and Suzanne Clayton and husband James of Allison Park, PA.
Per his wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
