Daisy Viola Feeser, 98, of Manchester, died peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born February 18, 1920 in Glenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Dubs) Wildasin. She was the wife of the late Ralph William Feeser, who passed away in 1977.
Daisy was a devoted wife and homemaker. She provided domestic care for the Landon Elizabeth Burns family in Westminster for many years. She was a custodian at the former Westminster Junior High School, retiring in 1976. She was a life-long member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church on Bachman Valley Road near Westminster, where she taught Sunday School and visited the sick, homebound and shut-ins for many years.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews, including her guardians, Jeffery and Ruth Lohmeyer of Myrtle Beach, SC, and special niece and nephew Janet and Ted Heiner of Dover, PA. She is also remembered by special friends, Gary Hooper and wife Shelby of Jefferson, MD. Daisy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by brothers, Roy and Walter Wildasin and sisters, Hattie Staub, Jean Becker, Martha Woodward and Romaine Hare.
A memorial service to celebrate Daisy’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD with the Rev. Dave Schafer officiating. Inurnment will follow at John Luther Miller Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
