Corine L. Barron, age 78, of Whitehall, Maryland, died peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
Born December 20, 1937 in Micaquesville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edna (Shifflet) Lam. She was predeceased by her husband, William James Barron on November 25, 2015.
She was a grounds and maintenance worker with Hunt Valley Oregon Ridge Park prior to retirement. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are son, William “Rickie” R. Barron and Marcella Stine of Whitehall; daughters, Corine Beatty of Monkton and Pixie Hill of Whitehall; twin sister, Florine McCan of Baltimore; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth E. Barron on February 14, 2016 and by a sister, Ruby Kerney.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster, MD.
