Clyde Allen Davis, Jr., age 78, of Westminster, passed away at home on September 10, 2024, after battling lung cancer.  Born September 8, 1946, in Baltimore County, he was the son of Elizabeth Slade and Clyde A. Davis, Sr.  Clyde was married to Paula Davis for 44 years.

Clyde was surrounded by family and friends during his illness and last days.  Clyde’s favorite way to spend time was with his family whom he loved dearly.  He was an active member of the Church of the Open Door.  He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed being a craftsman throughout his life, having built his family’s home in 1983.  He was an avid Corvette enthusiast and Baltimore sports fan.  Clyde was always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked.

Clyde is survived by his wife Paula Davis; his four children and their spouses: Wendy and William “Bill” Garvin of Frederick, Scott and Stephanie Davis of Hampstead, Christopher and Theresa Davis of New Windsor, Angela and James Pallozzi of Ellicott City; his grandchildren Ryan, Brandon, Noah, Tyler, Talan, and Casen; several nieces and nephews; his twin-sister Carol Jackson and husband Hans Phab of Selbyville, Delaware; and his cousin Edward Owens and wife Debbie Owens of John’s Island, South Carolina.

Clyde is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Slade, father Clyde A. Davis, Sr., step-father Jack Slade, and his sister Jacqueline Ringrose.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project .

A private service by invitation will be held on September 21, 2024.  At 2:00PM the same day, the family will welcome friends and other extended family for a Celebration of Life at 3970 Rustin Drive, Hampstead, Maryland 21074.
