Clara Roberta Ohler, age 78, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Maryland.
Born on December 8, 1931 in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Marjorie (Worthington) Raver.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Ross Ohler in 2008.
Clara volunteered at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the clothing and Carpenter’s Table ministry. She loved spending time with her family, reading, and was an avid Orioles Fan.
Surviving are son, Jeffrey Ohler and wife Kathryn of Taneytown; grandsons, James Ohler and fiancée Donna Beard of New Oxford, PA, and Eric Ohler of Taneytown; sister Evelyn Abbott of Taneytown.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery in Taneytown.
