Christine Ann Utz

Christine Ann Utz, 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Born September 8, 1960, she was the daughter to the late Kenneth R. and Dolores E. Utz.

Christine received services from the ARC of Carroll County for over 30 years. She lived in several homes owned by the ARC before moving out into her own apartment. Through the years, she worked at both Black and Decker and BGE. She enjoyed coloring, going on trips, and spending time with her family.

Surviving her are sisters, Cindy Bull of Hanover, PA, Cathy and Terry Yingling of Keymar, MD, and Cheryl and Pete Prince of Seven Valleys, PA, and Robin Prince and Tony Martin of Waynesboro, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Utz; niece, Michelle Bull; uncle Harvey; and aunt, Stella.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157, and again from 10 am – 12 NOON on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the funeral home, where a funeral service will begin at 12 NOON with Pastor Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1441 East Mayberry Road, Silver Run, MD 21158.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Christine’s name to the ARC of Carroll County, 180 Kriders Church Road, Westminster, Maryland 21158.
