Charlotte Larue Kroh, 85, of the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys, New Oxford, PA and formerly of Westminster, MD died Tuesday afternoon, August 29, 2017 at the Brethren Home.
Born March 30, 1932 in Hanover, PA she was the daughter of the late Melvin E. and Sarah Pearl (Stonesifer) Kroh. Charlotte was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 1949 and Bridgewater College class of 1953.
For many years she was employed by the accounting firm of Ernst and Young. She was a life-long member of Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren in Westminster until moving to New Oxford. She then became a member of the Faith Community of the Brethren Home, where she served as a deacon and did volunteer work.
Surviving her are a number of cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from the Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, 818 Old Taneytown Rd., Westminster with Pastor Tom Richard officiating. Burial will follow in John Luther Memorial Cemetery, Bachman Valley Road, Westminster. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
