Charlotte Hobson

Charlotte Mae Hobson, 82, of Westminster, MD, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster with her family at her side.  Born December 8, 1939 in Ellicott City, MD, she was the daughter of the late Violet Mae Shane and the late Ralph Washington Peugh.  She was the wife of the late Roy Harold Hobson.  He passed in 1999.

Charlotte was a cashier and team leader at McDonalds, where she worked for 23 years.  She enjoyed gardening, knitting, collecting porcelain dolls, going to yard sales, and spending time with family.

Surviving are children, Richard Wayne “Rick” Jasper of Westminster, Barbara Ann Thomas (Bruce) of Hampstead, David Earl Peugh of Westminster, Otis Lee Ketterman (Betty) of Silver Run, and Ralph Eugene Jasper of NC; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Roy, Charlotte was predeceased by son, Darrell Lee Ketterman; daughter, Lisa Lynn Daniels; and siblings, Kathleen Skipper and Kenneth Peugh.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD with Pastor Greg G. Georg officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24th at the funeral home.
