Charlotte Frances Falconer, 59, of Thurmont, Maryland died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick. Born November 3, 1955 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Wetzel Welch, Sr. She was the wife of the late Bruce Falconer, who died in 2011.
Charlotte worked at the shoe factories in Emmitsburg and Thurmont during her younger years. She loved playing Bingo and board games, and collecting Eeyore items.
Surviving are daughter, Tiffany Ohler and husband Daniel of Fairfield, PA; brothers, Harry Welch, Jr. and wife Roxanne of Fairfield, Pa, and Michael Welch and wife Jennifer of Arizona; sister Kimberly Usilton and husband William of Keymar; grandchildren, Larry Devon and Mary-Alice Glass; and many nieces and nephews. She is also remembered by her best friend, Linda Pearson, of Thurmont.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St, Emmitsburg, MD. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
